Homework: Complete your maps of the Roman empire that we started in class. The maps should include accurate labels(cities, states, geographical features[mountains, rivers, seas, oceans, etc.]),a title, key, and it should be neat and colorful. Vocab quiz on Ch. 8 Tuesday!

FCAT has come and gone!!! I know you all worked really hard and we can all sigh in relief that FCAT for this school year is behind us :) As we get back into our regular routine students please be sure that you are sprinting to the finish line rather than walking. We have just two more weeks.
Advanced: Chapter 7 Test Monday, Quarter exam Friday March 20. You should begin preparing, the exam will cover everything we've studied through Greece.

HOLA!!! Last night you all read over The Sirens on pgs. 192-195 and you completed the writing activity.
CLASSWORK:
Today in class you were to draft a list of characteristics you found in Ulysses(Odysseus)in the tale of the Sirens. Using these characteristics you will creatively write a WANT AD(Advertisement) for a Hero to come and command your ship as captain. You may wish to add illustrations, color, or any type creative expression you want. I do require that you include at least 7 characteristics for your hero. Other than that let your imaginations run free :) This assignment is due by Friday 3/6.
