Tonight's HW: Draw and label the map on pg. 167. Be sure to answer the two questions underneath the map on that page also. Your map must include a title, key, and it should be labeled.
Please bring in a pillow case that you CAN CUT. This is so that we may be able to make toga's in class.

Happy Wednesday!!!
Hope you all are having a fantastic week thus far! Just a reminder we have a quiz tomorrow on section 1 of Chapter 6. The quiz is open note; however, it is NOT multiple choice. Be sure to look over the section and familiarize yourself with the vocabulary, geography in Greece, rulers in Greece, and democracy. You also have comprehension and critical thinking skills questions to complete for tonight. Have a wonderful evening and I will see you tomorrow!

History Fair Project Presentations
Reminder: History Fair presentations tomorrow. The school History Fair is on February 18, 2009. I know you all are just as enthusiastic about presenting your projects as I am. With that, I'd like to remind you of what we discussed in class. Remember the questions I gave you in class today: Who was your individual(give a brief introduction)? What was most intriguing about your individual? What made you choose to do your project on this person? How and why is your individual important? What was their legacy? How did your individual influence history? Finally, evaluate your individuals role and impact on history. How do they rate against other historical leaders? How significant was their role?

Confucius Scaffold Assignment
Good Afternoon Students!! I know that many of you needed the high-complexity verbs in order to finish your assignment from class today. As you are at home generating your questions keep in mind that you want open-ended questions. This means that you should not have any yes or no questions. Be reminded that your Ch.5 Section 4 assignment is due tomorrow as well. This was assigned on Tuesday in class :)
