Presentations

I really enjoyed your presentations today in class. It was great to see you all being active particpants in each other's learning of ancient Egyptian Kingship. Over the weekend, work on generating your two or more questions of interest concerning the ruler/dynasty presented by each group in class.

On Monday I will expect that you have a total of 10 questions about the rulers, at least 5 sentences about which ruler of the rulers presented in class you think was the greatest, and you evaluations of the presentations. Have a wonderful weekend. Please follow the schedules for History Fair.

Map Corrections and HW

For tonight you are to draw and label a map with ALL of the required features. Today in class we reviewed the map and traced the flow of the Nile River. We also introduced some very important key features in modern day Egypt. So, be sure to include:
Flow of the Nile and its sources
Upper and Lower Egypt
Upper and Lower Nubia
Aswan
The Cataracts (there are 6)
Aswan Dam
Lake Nasser
Alexandria
Cairo
Valley of the Kings
Nile Delta

This may require you to do some minor research, but a little research will be good for you :) This(corrected map with new features) is DUE TOMORROW in class. In Engrade you will notice that having your map with the required features was a 5 point quiz grade. If you failed to follow instructions or you failed to come to class prepared, then you received a 0.
